What We Know About GTA VI Vehicles
GTA VI is shaping up to have the largest vehicle roster in franchise history. Over 200 vehicles have already been confirmed through official trailers, screenshots, and Rockstar's website — and the full game isn't even out yet. Expect the final launch roster to exceed 300.
The vehicle lineup includes a mix of returning fan favourites from GTA V and GTA Online, alongside brand new models built specifically for Leonida's diverse environment — from Vice City's neon highway cruisers to the Keys' water smuggling boats and the Grassrivers' airboats.
📌 How This List Works
This page covers vehicles confirmed through official Rockstar trailers and screenshots only. Each vehicle is rated S/A/B based on expected performance and day-one value. Ratings will be updated with real data on November 19, 2026.
Supercars & Sports Cars
Vice City's long coastal highways and Ocean Drive boulevard make supercars more relevant in GTA VI than ever. Several returning legends have been confirmed alongside new additions.
Muscle Cars
GTA VI doubles down on American muscle. Vice City's car show culture and lowrider meets confirmed in the trailers suggest muscle cars will be more central to the experience than ever.
Motorcycles
Jason's confirmed motorcycle — the Principe Alvino V1 — is the standout bike reveal so far. Leonida's winding coastal roads and Key island routes make bikes a serious mode of transport in GTA VI.
Boats & Water Vehicles
GTA VI's Leonida setting makes water vehicles more important than any previous GTA game. The Keys, Port Gellhorn, and the Grassrivers all demand dedicated water transport — and Rockstar has delivered.
Aircraft
With a map estimated at nearly twice the size of GTA V, aircraft become essential for crossing Leonida efficiently. Several have been confirmed.
- Sea Sparrow — confirmed flying in the beach scene in Trailer 1. The amphibious helicopter returns, perfect for Keys island hopping.
- Dodo Seaplane — confirmed in an official screenshot showing a Dodo flying over the Keys. A GTA classic making its return.
- Buzzard Attack Chopper — confirmed returning. The go-to combat helicopter from GTA V is back for aerial missions and transport.
- Blimp — spotted over Vice City in trailer footage. Expect advertising blimps as part of the city atmosphere.
New Driving Physics — What's Changed
GTA VI's driving physics have been a major talking point since the trailers. Rockstar is moving away from GTA V's "floaty" handling model toward something heavier, more realistic, and more responsive.
- Vehicles feel heavier — more realistic weight and inertia, closer to GTA IV without the boat-like cornering
- Improved damage modelling — vehicles deform more realistically on impact
- Fully interactive interiors — dashboards, gauges, and lighting effects visible from first-person view
- Better water physics — boats and jet skis respond more naturally to wake, waves, and speed
- Deeper customisation — realistic paint, rim options, interior lighting, and Benny's-style widebody kits expected
💡 What This Means in Practice
Heavier physics means the skill ceiling is higher — but also means the difference between a good car and a great car matters more. Learning a vehicle's handling characteristics will be essential for high-stakes sell missions and heist getaways.
Vehicles & Money Making
In GTA VI, your vehicle choice directly affects your earning potential. Here's what the confirmed vehicle roster tells us:
💰 Day One Vehicle Priority
Don't blow your starter cash on a supercar. Your first vehicle purchases should be functional — a fast but practical car for sell missions, and a boat if you're running Keys smuggling operations. Save the Furia for when you have a bankroll.
- Water vehicles are now essential — not optional. Port Gellhorn Marina and Keys smuggling routes require boats. Budget for one early.
- Airboats are new meta — Grassrivers missions will likely require airboats. They're a new vehicle type with no GTA Online equivalent, so early adoption matters.
- The Sabre Turbo is confirmed connected to Jason and Lucia's story — may be available early and cheap.
- Supercars come later — once you have passive income running, then upgrade your garage.
